We finished the actions for the Creation story from the Ancient Egyptians.

Whilst the story was still fresh in our minds, after sharing ideas and watching some guided writing, we tried retelling it in our literacy books.

Today we learnt the Ancient Egyptian creation story.

We role-played the story and then did some 'talk for writing' to help us remember and re-tell it in our writing later this week.

The role-plays we got to see were great...well done everyone for getting involved so well.

We located Egypt on a map, and saw it was near the top of the continent called Africa. Afterwards, we created a human timeline in the hall to locate how old 'ancient' was and we discovered we are going to be learning about a time 4,000 years ago!

When we got back to the classroom we generated lots of questions that we will try to answer during this Summer Term.
