I think a noun is something that you could draw or touch for example a dog, a house, a flower, a laptop or a phone.
I think a proper noun is a peticular name of a person or place for example North Nibley, Mrs Jennings, Niall, France or Millie.

a proper noun is the special word (or name) that we use for a person, place or organisation, like John, Leah, London, Dursley, or Apple. A name is a noun, but a very special noun - a proper noun. Proper nouns have special rules.
Common nouns are: man, woman, town, resteraunt and film.
Proper nouns: Matthew, Julia, Dursley, Mcdonalds and Madacasca 3.
\You must use capital letters with proper nouns.
