I think the best book he ever wrote is Matilda because she finds out she has magical powers and sometimes does funny things with them.

I love Fantastic Mr Fox and his escape from the dreadful farmers, I laugh at Roald Dahl's childhood adventures in Boy and get nervous in witches as the plot to rid the world of children unfolds, but my most favourite of all Roald Dahl books is the Twitts.
The description of why not to trust hairy faced men is one of my go to stories on the first day of school, as I am a hairy faced teacher. following the dreadful pranks of Mr and Mrs Twitt makes me laugh and dislike the characters for their craftyness and evil ways. Additionally the Twitts had Mugglewump and the Rolly Polly Bird who are both too cool for school.
Oh, but to read out loud you need to have Revolting Rhymes at the top of the list as ''Once again her eye lid flickers...."

Good reasoning Nieve. Don't forget your capital letters and full stops though!

I like Georges marvalous medicine because he makes a very big potion with lots and lots of ingredients and you cant wait to find out what happens when Georges granny tries the wonderfall medicine.
