We created some success criteria for our blurbs that we will write today.

Can anyone remember any of the key parts?

As part of our mental maths starter, (prior to learning about x10 and x100) we did some work with number spaghetti!

We split in to teams and worked within them, improving our mental skills, to work out who had the highest value of the numbers they could successfully "fork out" from a mug full.

There were two winners! Well done to everyone for trying hard.

This morning we started learning about 'blurbs'. We identified what they are and their purpose.

After that we matched mystery blurbs to their books and identified positive and negative things about them.

On Friday we said "goodbye" to Miss Crook. She has worked with Class 3 over the past 9 weeks and has taught really exciting lessons that have develop our learning in all areas of the curriculum.

Miss Crook is going to teach a Year 5 class in September, at a boys prep school. We wish her every success with her new teaching post.

The sun shone on a very successful sports day. Well done to all involved!

On Tuesday we visited Bristol Museum and @Bristol.

It was a very interesting day for all.

More photos to follow shortly.

Please have a look at our work we have done this week which has been put together by Miss. Crook and Mrs. Mead in the hall.

Earlier today we performed at the KLB Multiskills event.

It was a great morning, although the sun didn't shine as brightly as it had done earlier in the week!

Mr. Tomkins is going to put some of the pictures from the day on Class 3's part of the school website...so please take a look.

Today we finished off our chairs for the Egyptian Gods.

How do you feel yours went?
