Number Spaghetti

As part of our mental maths starter, (prior to learning about x10 and x100) we did some work with number spaghetti!

We split in to teams and worked within them, improving our mental skills, to work out who had the highest value of the numbers they could successfully "fork out" from a mug full.

There were two winners! Well done to everyone for trying hard.

Amy: We really enjoyed doing number spaghetti.
It got our number brains working really well

Poppy: The number spaghetti was really fun to play around with.
Especially with the cocktail stick.

Poppy and Amy :The numbers where quite hard to make out
but we got there in the end. It was also very messy and we had to make sure the weren't ripped.
