What will happen?

We are told that water travels through the stem of a plant.

We have put food colouring in water and added a daffodil. What do we expect to see tomorrow when we get in to school?

You are so right that water travels through the stem of the flower it might turn the colour of the water.

when the flower opens the flower will go the same colour as the food colouring
